The AutoFormat is the culprit, and while there are many ways of tackling this problem, the easiest is to use the ‘undo’ facility, because it does not interfere with anything else in your computer.

When you have typed the address and then entered a space, the hyperlink is made -  go to the Edit menu and at the top you will see ‘Undo AutoFormat’ click and the address will lose its colour and the underlining

Internet Explorer Favourites
To arrange your favourites in alphabetical order select ‘Favourites’ from the Menu bar - note don’t use the button with a star. When the Menu appears it shows at the top it shows two entries - ‘Add to Favorites’ and ‘Organize Favorites’  and then a line.  Place your cursor below the line and right click.  Second last in the resultant menu you will see ‘Sort by Name’ - click this and the Favourites will be arranged in alphabetical order.

The Windows Key is very useful for shortcuts.  When + , press the Windows Key and while holding it down, press the other key.
Windows Key on its own     gives you the ‘Start’ menu
Windows Key + C                gives you the Control Panel
Windows Key + Y                gives you My Computer
Windows Key + M                closes all open frames
To open them again use Windows + Shift + M

  Shortcut
Right click on the Shortcut icon.  From the menu select ‘Shortcut’.  Enter the key that you want to use and as soon as you enter it the computer will add ‘Ctrl + Alt’.  Thereafter, at any time, whatever the number of windows on your desktop, if you select ‘Ctr’ and ‘Alt’ keys at the same time, together with your chosen key, then the original shortcut will operate.

  PrintScreen Key
When the PrintScreen is operated nothing appears to happen, because all it does is it saves the graphic of the screen in the note pad.  To be able to make use of this, you will need to paste it somewhere.  The simplest option is to paste it into a Word document.

There you can work on it with the ‘Picture’ menu.  If this menu is not showing, right click on the grey area on the task bar, and select  it from all the other options.
